Copper City

20+ miles of mountain bike specific trails and still counting.

Beginning in 2017, Copper City has quickly evolved into a project grounded in community involvement and support. The brain child of the South Western Montana Mountain Bike Association (SWMMBA) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bo Trails has personally broken ground on over twenty miles of the Copper City trail network to date. Whether looking to ride a skills park, an easy going cross country trail such as High Ore, or an exhilarating multifaceted downhill trail like Merry Widow; Bo Trails’ contributions to the Copper City trail network are well worth experiencing first hand.

OHV

The bigger the wheels, the bigger the trail.

Bo Trails has been contracted to do a wide variety of work for an ever growing spectrum of cliental. The same knowledge and technical abilities that enables Bo Trails to construct world class mountain bike trails also affords them the knowhow to build fun and sustainable OHV trail networks. By utilizing grade reversals, bench cuts and climbing turns, the team at Bo Trails is constantly looking for the most responsible ways to build OHV trails that won’t fall victim to the usual onslaught of erosion and poor drainage issues. With the addition of a Sweco Trail Dozer to Bo Trails’ growing echelon of trail building equipment, Bo Trails has the capacity to blend the precise tooling of a mini-excavator with the earth moving speed and power of a 48 inch trail dozer.

Multi-Use & Single Track

Leading the way through our natural landscape.

At Bo Trails we’ve become quite skilled at moving earth. Many of our projects often require heavy-handedness to accommodate for massive tread widths and large structures. Some of our favorite projects, however, offer trail solutions that take a more minimalistic approach to traveling within your favorite environments. Through highly skilled excavation and hand tooling, we are capable of producing multi-use, single track, and primitive trails that do not require large berms and massive retaining structures. Looking for a new hiking, equestrian, or otherwise low profile trail? We’d love to lend a hand.
